CAMM Memory introduced on 7770/7670 machines, about the size of 3 RAM modules.

The USB-C chargers are proprietary & some laptops wont accept non-Dell chargers past 90W

LPCAMM2 on 2025 models. Some systems have 'regular' SoDIMM slots.

Dell OEM USB-C chargers or bust, I'm not gonna make a compatibility guide.

It seems that Dell has 2 years or system generations of one DGFF connector type before changing it.

On some sizes, they are different shapes all together, but can be "upgraded" to a newer card if it fits.

3540 & later x0 systems have Ultrabook CPUs, unike most here

On the 2025 models, the shape changed a fourth time; the 18" & 16" have different shapes.

3541 x1 systems have workstation "H" CPUs, but some have the "U" as well

Since the 7670, non Plus model Dells have two different chassis options, "bottom door" or "discrete GPU chassis".

The thicker chassis allow stronger dGPUs, and different battery compatibility, thinner, are lesser, but both can come with iGPUs!
