I’d like to make a MySQL line chart, but I dunno how to code… so instead of it being more interactive, its just a PNG. Yes I’m planning to make like 200 web pages like this…
gonna go on fiverr to get some help 😛

Only the plan T430 and T430i have socketed CPUs, and yes you can upgrade to quadcore if you so wish to. You’ll want the beefier nVidia heatsink for better cooling. T430s, T430u and T431s are soldered, not upgradable.

T430u | HD4000 | GT 620M 1GB |
T431s | HD4000 |
Graphics are soldered onto the motherboard, and they were optional, so check the MTM look up before buying. And no it’s not worth buying another motherboard w/ a dGPU to upgrade nVidia graphics. Besides, a 8th gen T480 will whoop these processing/graphics/battery wise… but wont have the classic build quality.
The ‘rare’ T430 w/ the 2GB VRAM have the following MTMs
2349 -N4G, -N3G, -PWG, or -PVG

During this era, the screens of these laptops were terrible. 250 nits luminance and a 500 to 1 contrast ratio at best, people were upgrading screens from the X1 Carbon on the T430.
Sometime in 2015, users from 51nb forum had concocted a board adapter with a shortened LVDS cable and had used a eDP 30 pin cable. Users were able to upgrade to the new 1080p IPS panels that was offered with T440p and other 14″ premium laptops.
Because the T430 and T430s had different motherboard and frame layouts, the chip had different types and the eDP cable was also a different length. Additionally the original run for the T430 mod chip had a panel flickering defect due to the location of the mod chip was close to the DC jack & it’s frequency would interupt the signal. For some the placement of the chip behind the LCD was a fix, but that would push against the lid and screen itself just a bit.
On the T430s, for some it required a bit of filing down of the chassis so that it would fit. Although I was able to snugly fit the chip w/o removal of the motherboard and had no problems with the keyboard.
