TPG 10 – 700, 600, 800 Series

Not doing photos and such, that took a damn long time. Price research from April to June 2025, yeah i took my fucking time on this :/

Price guide info
Model – Highlighted text is a link to the ebay search, sold listings. The first search is either a generic catch all search, or just the MTM. Then from there it is specific models
Sometimes I sift through the information, as itll have parts listings and in some cases
Sold – How many units sold
Low, Mid, High – Should be obvious. 25-30%, 50-60%, 75-85% of the sold listings.
EX+ – Higher than high, but usually bc of it being in great condition, it has something special (accessories, complete with original box, new old stock, certain type of OS installed). In some cases, it can just a working unit…

Pricing data from TPG 9 (2024) will be underlined and italicized. It my not correlate from the guide I’ve done previously, e,g: its a high price, but tpg10 price was a lot higher, so it got bumped into mid price.

  • consider you will not get something turn key, the latter at a low price, but if you do, I will note it!

  • In this era, there is a lot of demand but not so much of supply. That said, JCS computers, errr Jeremiah’s Computer Store LLC is an awesome seller of old and late model ThinkPads! Their listings are accurate, they take good pictures, and I believe they are a good seller.

• $45 for a HDD compatible with the 730T/TE, one avail listing w/ a printer & special case is still listed from a prevoius search.

      • TPG9 notes – EX+ is a 16 bid auction has the 3545 Dock & does turn on to errors, but internally it is all there. Screen shows age. Mid is 3 bids, and low was a BIN.

  • Comes with bag, floppies, 32MB mem card, documents, but the LCD doesnt turn on… hmm however, seller says it boots to win 3.1. Given how old these are, it could be a capacitor for the screen panel that is bad.

    • Someone is selling a faulty LCD with a dying CCFL backlight and called it “Redstroke” for the red dimming. Hmmm. Listed seller as an untested unit for high price, but sells other cool stuff from the area.

Most of the listings here has the HDD door cover, unsure if drive & caddy is in there. One machine boots to error and we had one 5:4!
