Anyways after my first beer here at TapRoom in San Diego, North Park neighborhood, an avail item has got my attention. Yes old ThinkPads are awesome and I am doing a guide for them, but this 355C caught my attention just a little bit more. Now I THINK I am modest when it comes to linking sellers, yes there’s some overpriced sellers out there but they are literally pandering to those with nostalgia goggles and don’t give a fuck, they just want to buy the new NES to give pain to their children. Anyways, this seller irked me quite a bit.
Thing is their feedback. They got a lot of positive feedback but they got a few negative ones. I used to do template bullshit, basically we write the description, and tell you to look at item condition. The whole thing is stupid bc those details could be ignored, whatever, I stopped doing that, or I would copy/paste that shit everywhere, including in the item title. Well I have a feeling they use AI to auto write their bullshit.
Mother fucker, why the fuck would you write “UNK CPU/RAM/HDD” yet in the description SAY IT COMES WITH A PENTIUM?! ITS A FUCKING 486DX, THAT IS NOT PENTIUM. U DUMB MOTHERFUCKER!!! Oh and I’m sure the fucking DRIVE & RAM are pulled too. Looking at negative feedback, the fucking seller didn’t say the remote they were selling didn’t come with a battery lid/cover. OK they took a photo of it, but the fucking worker is too lazy to not write it down? and it has a generic fucking description/ fuck off.
This fucking laptop is a POS, but what bugged me is their shipping quote. A hundred fucking dollars!
Some of you may not know, but I am a fed… I work for the government, USPS. Yeah I’m Freddie scum, deal with it.
But being a fucking e-Waste seller and postal worker, I can’t believe what some of these prices are. Ship that shit with UPS ground or FedEx SmartPost if its super fucking far away, have it as default so Customers wont CRY about the wait time, so that way they can SEE it costs more to be shipped faster.
This fucking seller on eBay must have a flat rate shipping cost, but goddamn is it god awful.
Shipping from SD to Nor Cal. Fuck u if u think its more than $90 the other way around. Priority isn’t even $100 lmao. I oversized the package too, you know this seller is gonna cheap out on it.

Ok to add insult to injury, the customer is a dumbass, could have gotten it cheaper, but still, can you fucking write it doesn’t come with a fucking battery cover? is it really that hard? fuck off.
